Life wanders. It stops to explore. It falls down and then gets up and brushes itself off. That Avatar understands this is one of its great strengths.

The Master Course

The Course The Avatar Master Course runs for nine consecutive days. These are extraordinary days in which time is forgotten. The structure of the course and the exercises bring up deep issues that at first may seem unendurable and overwhelming. Then a few sessions later, you are having a good laugh at yourself. By the end of the week, it seems like several lifetimes (both past and planned) have passed. The Master course goes behind the scenes and discusses the results and phenomena encountered on Avatar from an entirely new perspective. After three back-to-back initiation sessions and several hours of persistent identity rundowns, students may have a hard time remembering their names, but they will have an absolute certainty on the workability of Avatar and the infinite and eternal expanse of source awareness.

You are lost in a dark cave and don’t know which way to go. Characteristic of a sentient being, you pray for guidance. And as your eyes become accustomed to the dark, a new awareness awakens, and you notice that one direction is lighter than the other. Proceeding toward the light, you come upon a smooth wall of rock that is reflecting a soft light. This must be enlightenment, you think. But as your eyes become accustomed to the soft light, a new awareness awakens, and you notice that the light really comes from a nearby pool of water. This must be enlightenment, you think. Arriving at the pool, your eyes become accustomed to the reflection of light from the water. A new awareness awakens, and you notice that the light really comes from the reflection of the moon. This must be enlightenment, you think. While contemplating the light of the moon, another new awareness awakens, and you notice that the light really comes from the fires of the sun. This must be enlightenment, you think. On The Wizard Course, the awareness that notices new awareness awakening is discovered. It never slept. What is this enlightenment, you think, and you laugh, because from the Wizard’s view the answer is so simple. Beneath the luminous reality of mind, which stretches infinitely about you, there is one absolute, and Avatars call it the Wizard. All form and manifestation are of the Wizard. You never hurt anyone but the Wizard; you are never hurt by anyone but the Wizard. You never meet anyone but the Wizard, and you are never offended by anyone but the Wizard. You are never really angry at anyone but the Wizard. Making peace with this omnipresent Wizard, who is literally closer than you think, is true enlightenment.
The Mission of Avatar
The Wizard’s art is first and foremost a process of learning. Only after study and understanding does it become a process of expression. Art is a methodology copied from external nature and then accelerated. Art can produce in a short time what it takes nature eons to accomplish. Wizardry is a methodology copied from our internal nature and then accelerated. Wizardry can produce in a short time what it takes nature eons to accomplish. The extent of the proper application of the art of a Wizard is something that requires the imagination to evolve in order to even get a glimmer of the possibilities. Every successful civilization has been the result of a core group of dedicated professionals who have laid the foundation and drafted the blueprints for the future. These are the individuals who get the show started. They are resourceful, often visionary, often unconventional. In the Star’s Edge network, these are the Wizards. In respect to some inner call, they rise above the world and lay the foundation that was conceived some time ago for an enlightened planetary civilization.
